Noida, Jan 21, 2019: KritiKal Solutions, a leading product-engineering company, attended the 11th Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing, held at Khemka Auditorium, ISB Hyderabad Campus from 18 to 22 December 2018. The ICVGIP 2018 was organized by IIIT Hyderabad in association with the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (IUPRAI), an affiliate of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) during December 2018. KritiKal’s Computer Vision & Image Processing (CVIP) Technology Head, Dr. Aditi Kapoor, took part in the 5-day long Tech converge to explore technological advances and research findings in the realm of Computer Vision, Graphics, and Image Processing.
With eminent leaders, academicians, researchers from all around the world, the biennial International Conference was a compendium of Plenary Talks, Workshops, Tutorials, Research Papers, Posters, etc. in the space of Vision, Graphics and Image Processing. KritiKal Solutions, focused on strengthening its academic and industry relationships, interacted with a slew of visionaries to broaden knowledge horizons and discover new things that can possibly aid in solving the real-world problems.
KritiKal also delved in some panel discussions, talks & poster presentations around interesting topics such as incremental learning / lifelong learning (scalability in classes, tasks, and domains) without catastrophic loss; Digital Heritage/ Medical Image analysis; Unsupervised learning; A holistic approach towards CV/G/IP/ML problems.
After getting apprised with technology trends and findings in the sphere of Vision & Graphics, KritiKal Solutions geared up for the Hyderabad Symposium on AI – an initiative driven by IIIT Hyderabad to address the larger AI community across the World. The first-of-its-kind Symposium was a co-located event with the ICVGIP 2018, which took place on 22nd of December 2018 at the Infosys Campus in Gachibowli. The Symposium featured eminent speakers from the renowned Institutions including Prof. Santanu Chaudhury, IIT Jodhpur / CEERI; Dr. Karteek Alahari, INRIA, France; Prof. Rama Chellappa, University of Maryland; Dr. Shailesh Kumar, AI CoE, Reliance Jio.
KritiKal Solutions, with the special emphasis laid towards the greater collaboration in the field of ADAS, Medical, Security & Surveillance, exchanged thoughts with the Professors, Research Scholars and other Industry Researchers who presented on promising topics like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Visualization.
